I guess it's finished :phew:
Gerard Butler as King Leonidas on 300.

I want to dedicate this drawing to my boyfriend whose b-day is today :D and to my watcher number 300, :iconflusher:, haha, it was funny that when I started the drawing I got 300 watchers, lol.

Well, I really wanted to finish it! I was so tired of it!
I darkened the shadows of several parts, to make it have more contrast, and depth. It's not as detailed as I'd like but it's the first time a draw something like this. The face was so small in the reference that it was quite difficult to me to get the resemblance and everything right.

Thank you so much for looking, for watching the process, and for all the comments and favs during that process :aww:

Pencils 2B to 6B and 0.5 HB and 2B mechanical pencils

... There is opalescent light and velvet dark. Isn't that the artist's best joy? To control light? To rival the sun and moon? To turn their logic upside down with brushes and paint and monstrous egos? - Dorothea Tanning
It turned out fantastic!:)
"He felt a very human chill down his spine"
