Trying yet another thing. I bought some wood panels the other day and decided to try pencils and pastels on them.
The scan though, is very bad, I couldn't bring out all the whites with the scan, the skin has a lot more white tones and you can't see them on the image.

Probando otra cosa más. El otro día compré paneles de madera y decidí probar a dibujar a lapiz y pastel en ellos.
La imagen es bastante mala, no he podido sacar todos los blancos con el escaneo, la piel tiene muchos más tonos blancos que no se ven en la imagen.

Herramientas: Lapiceros y pastel blanco sobre panel de madera.
Tamaño: 30x60 cm

chac out pyrography page your art matches it perfectly woodburners are relatively inexpensive 10 to 20 bucs for the kit this peice looks as if it was burned

Did ypu try playing with the levels to try and get it closer to the original? I think it looks awesome here but you maybe able to recover your original look by playing with the colour adjustments.
